We are so glad to join 2006 ENO Tree Planting Activity together with ENO schools around the world !  This is the third year for our school to have this activity.   We held a series of activities to arouse the environmental awareness among us.   First, in echo with UN Peace Day appealing, Ms Fu, an art teacher in our school, designed one ENO poster for everyone to do the “peace Signature.”  Our students introduced ENO 921 Tree Planting and Peace Signature Activities to all the teachers and students in school assembly.  You can see how much we have involved in this activity.

Later in the noon of September 21, we invited such local celebrities as  Fengshan City Mayor, Chief Director of Water Resource Bureau of Kaohsiung County, Chief Executive of Youth Volunteering Center in Kaohsiung Area, Mr. Jaime Zelaya from El Salvador.  They gave us very positive opinions on ENO activity.  And we were so happy that we can make more people understand the importance of sustaintial development. After the end of the activity, students in Biology Student Society did the measurement for the height of the tree.   The tree we plant is one Taiwan local tree---     It has been recognized in one of the top ten gardening trees around the world!

Class 203 in our school has practiced a lot in singing the songs of “Hi and Hoe” and “Tree Planting” song under the instruction of Ms Angela Tsai.   They surely had made great performance.  Soon after the tree planting, we all went up to do the Peace Signature Activity.  As shown in pictures, you could see how excited we were in finishing this meaningful activity.
